W04 Reflection: Site Builder and Hosting

 Take it from me, researching and finally choosing a site builder and hosting option is definitely an overwhelming task. There are lots and lots of options and each one is better and worse at some things than others. It is very important as you do your research to have a certain set of criteria that both a site builder and host meet. 

Personally, I liked the idea of choosing a host that offered web building and domains so that I didn't have to shop around and make multiple purchases. It was nice that I made one transaction that included all of the necessities. I think it would be helpful to choose a host first and then a web builder and domain, in that order because otherwise you may miss out on bundled deals and make an unnecessary purchase. Luckily most of these businesses offer refunds if you cancel their products early enough. 

This can be confusing so I suggest doing lots of research and watching lots of youtube tutorials because I think at the end of the day one of the moat important things is being able to create and edit a website by yourself so gauge your capability levels as well as your budget and choose accordingly!

W11Reflection: Landing Page Optimization & Basic SEO

       This week had some of the most important and useful information I think I have learned thus far. Let me share some of the things that stuck out most to me specific to my line of work as well as in general.\      The topics of discussion for this week were landing page optimization and basic SEO (search engine optimization). For landing page optimization I learned that a couple of good practices include making sure the user's experience (UX) is a good one. W07 Reflection: Google Ads & Keywords

Reflecting on my experience this past week as we've explored Google Ads more and keywords, things have gone well and I've learned a lot! I was able to go through the entire process of putting together a Google Ads campaign and decide what features to take advantage of as well as what to opt out of.  I've gained insights into the characteristics of both good and bad keywords and tried to plan my campaign accordingly.
