W08 Reflection: Ads

This week was all about the importance and complexities behind ads and ad grouping and understanding successful keywords as well as negative keywords.

I also saw the importance of general yet specified listings that would target your specific product or service above others while having other variations of searches that may still lead a customer your direction without putting money into descriptions that lead nowhere.

If your company includes multiple lines of products or services you need to prioritize your most relevant and focus your money on campaigns that will generate the most revenue while still having headlines and descriptions for your less popular items.

Having a headline and description that interests the customer and directs them directly to the resource they are interested will ensure they stay on your site. Including a call to action early on will increase the likelihood of the customer doing business with you.

Google Ads produces helpful tips and suggestions for increasing the quality of your campaign and its success with customers' searches so utilize the software and the data it collects.
