W02 Reflection: Choosing a Business

Hello! Welcome to my blog where I reflect on my experience learning how to build a successful company. I'll be sharing my insights on things that went well as well as any failures or mistakes I make to try and help others avoid making the same. 

One thing I learned is how important it is to understand different business models, marketing strategies, target audiences, and demand and competition. This will ensure you start out on the right foot and in the right market with a chance at success. I also learned to utilize web search engines that can give you insightful information and statistics that can help motivate your decisions regarding what to offer and how to be different from and better than your competitors. Finding and using the resources available to you can reduce the amount of trial and error you run into during your entrepreneurship. I'm excited for the responsibility and opportunity of creating a business and hope to learn all I can!

W11Reflection: Landing Page Optimization & Basic SEO

       This week had some of the most important and useful information I think I have learned thus far. Let me share some of the things that stuck out most to me specific to my line of work as well as in general.\      The topics of discussion for this week were landing page optimization and basic SEO (search engine optimization). For landing page optimization I learned that a couple of good practices include making sure the user's experience (UX) is a good one. Some of the ways you can do this is to make sure that your site is easy to navigate, loads quickly, can be used on any type of browser or screen size, and is aesthetically pleasing to look at and understand. W07 Reflection: Google Ads & Keywords

Reflecting on my experience this past week as we've explored Google Ads more and keywords, things have gone well and I've learned a lot! I was able to go through the entire process of putting together a Google Ads campaign and decide what features to take advantage of as well as what to opt out of.  I've gained insights into the characteristics of both good and bad keywords and tried to plan my campaign accordingly. In an attempt to help with any future ad quests, I would like to offer some of my findings. When it comes to good keywords, relevance is one of the most important.
