W03 Reflection

 Howdy! I'm back with an update on my business and to share what I have learned so far about sourcing a product!

This week I learned about affiliate marketing and drop shipping as sourcing options for my business. I also learned more about the differences between a manufacturer, a distributer, and a wholesaler and how you may have to put quite a bit of time into your company before you are able to run things through the channels you are hoping for due to marketing, success, and competition. 

I learned a technique that helps to quantify and compare various options you have, objectively, when making business decisions and acknowledging pros and cons to each. 

I became familiar with professional etiquette when reaching out to businesses you are interested in marketing or vending for. I intend to utilize the information I was exposed to this past week to gain their business and also their trust.

W11Reflection: Landing Page Optimization & Basic SEO

       This week had some of the most important and useful information I think I have learned thus far. Let me share some of the things that stuck out most to me specific to my line of work as well as in general.\      The topics of discussion for this week were landing page optimization and basic SEO (search engine optimization). For landing page optimization I learned that a couple of good practices include making sure the user's experience (UX) is a good one. Some of the ways you can do this is to make sure that your site is easy to navigate, loads quickly, can be used on any type of browser or screen size, and is aesthetically pleasing to look at and understand. W07 Reflection: Google Ads & Keywords

Reflecting on my experience this past week as we've explored Google Ads more and keywords, things have gone well and I've learned a lot! I was able to go through the entire process of putting together a Google Ads campaign and decide what features to take advantage of as well as what to opt out of.  I've gained insights into the characteristics of both good and bad keywords and tried to plan my campaign accordingly. In an attempt to help with any future ad quests, I would like to offer some of my findings. When it comes to good keywords, relevance is one of the most important. Ensuring that the keywords directly relate to your business's services or products is crucial. Additionally, specificity plays a significant role, especially for your key or most popular offerings.
