W10 Reflection: ROI & Optimizing Ad Performance
This week's material was a little deeper and harder to grasp all the concepts that were being taught or best practices that were being shared. I tried to take in as much information as I could but at times felt overwhelmed with the strategy behind running and optimizing ads.
There are a lot of things that go into making sure an ad performs well and does what it is supposed to. One of those being quality keywords, both positive and negative. Ensuring a customer lands on your page with your products or services in mind despite using poor search words or phrases is proof of a well-implemented and running Google Ads campaign.
Another is making sure that once Google Ads leads your potential customer to your site, the customer is directed to his or her interest or need and wants to stay and perform an action. Completing the necessary site maintenance that makes it easier for customers to navigate your site and find what they are looking for will bring success to your business.
I discovered that Google Ads allows flexibility according to the range you are interested in For example, they offer broad match advertising which serves your ad in a wider variety of searches and exact match advertising which is for more specific searches all depending on your preference.
There are lots more things to learn about Google Ads and improving existing ads so that your business can reach its full potential that I am excited to become familiar with!
